Fallout 76 is an upcoming online multiplayer game, set for release in November 14th, 2018.
Players must team up to create bases, hunt monsters and other players with bounties on their heads for attacking other players in the game. Fighting it out to gain access and ultimate control to nuclear missiles is apparently one of the main objectives of the game.
Go it alone or with fellow survivors to unlock access to the ultimate weapon – Nuclear Missiles. Are you going to protect or unleash the power of the atom? We're interested to see who or what survives the aftermath. #Fallout76 #BE3 pic.twitter.com/C2clc0Ja4i

Another thing that Bethesda confirmed on Twitter was that this game is going to be the largest of any game in the Fallout universe.
“Set in the hills of West Virginia,” they said, “You are one of the first to emerge into a very different and untamed wasteland.” The world is huge, diverse, and features six distinct regions to explore, each pulling from real culture, locations and even legends from the area.
A core feature of the game will be the survival aspect, with much suggesting that the game will be similar to RUST.
It was confirmed at E3 2018 that pre-ordering the game now will grant players with access to the open-beta later on this year.
Fallout 76 Official Trailer:
In the Trailer for Fallout 76 we see a much more colorful, alive world. This is probably due to when the game is set. Compared to any of the other games by Bethesda, the game is set hundreds of years before. Plants still exist, not all of the buildings have returned to nature just yet and things have not got as bad as they are going to get later.
Fallout 76 Teaser Trailer:
The teaser trailer shows you scenes inside of a vault looking ready for a celebration, where a sign reads “Reclamation Day”. Suggesting that perhaps this is the day the inhabitants of the vault are set to join the world after sheltering from the Fallout.
A broadcast in the teaser shows an official saying, “When the fighting has stopped and the fallout has settled, you must rebuild.” Which further supports this theory about “Reclamation Day”.
When Is Fallout 76 Set?
In the teaser trailer the Pip-Boy shows us a date that reads Oct. 27, 2102, much further in the past than Fallout 4 which was set in 2287 and Fallout 3 set in 2277.
This suggests that these may have been some of the first survivors to have ever left a Vault and entered the Wastelands.
Where Is The Game Set?
Fallout 76 is set in West Virginia, many already thought this due to the teasers music being a cover of John Denver’s hit “Take Me Home, Country Roads”. The game is also codenamed “Mountain”, which suggests that the game could be set around the Appalachians.
At E3 2018 it was confirmed that the game was to be set in West Virginia.
It seems as though the game will be made available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
It is unclear at this point whether or not the game will be made immediately VR ready.
We will be updating this page as more updates are made available.
